mangoes, peeled and sliced

sugar

butter

puff pastry, defrosted
Instructions
▢
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
▢
Heat your cast iron skillet over medium, low heat.
▢
Add your sugar and allow it to melt and caramelize, careful not to let it burn. It will begin to turn golden brown as it dissolves.
▢
Add your butter and stir to melt it and to combine with the caramel.
▢
Remove the pan from the heat.
▢
Arrange your mangos into the caramel sauce.
▢
Cut your puff pastry to the size of your skillet. Gently arrange it over the top of the mangos.
▢
Use a fork to create several holes in the top of your puff pastry. This will allow the steam to escape.
▢
Bake the tarte for 40 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
▢
Allow the tarte to cool for several minutes.
▢
Place a plate over the top of the skillet. Using both hands, flip it, inverting it onto the plate.
▢
Serve with ice cream and enjoy!
