Oven Baked BBQ Ribs

Wow your friends and family with these tender, fall off the bone delicious spice rubbed ribs!

Equipment

  • 1 baking sheet

Ingredients
 
 

  • 1-2 lb ribs, baby back or St. Louis style
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried mustard
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • barbecue sauce

Instructions
 

  • Mix together all of the spices for your dry rub.
  • Remove the membrane from the back of your ribs. Pat them dry.
  • Sprinkle the dry rub all over your ribs, making sure both sides are covered.
  • Allow your ribs to sit out at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 250 degrees.
  • Wrap your ribs in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet, meat side down.
  • Bake your ribs for two hours, or until they are fall apart tender.
  • Remove from the foil and place back on the baking sheet, meat side up. Brush both sides with barbecue sauce.
  • Bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the sauce is set.
  • Allow to cool for ten minutes before slicing.
