freshly squeezed lime juice or store-bought key lime juice, divided

Instructions

This dessert fit an 8x8 baking dish.
▢
Add the mascarpone cheese, sweetened condensed milk, and half a cup of lime juice to a bowl and mix until smooth and combined.
▢
Slowly add in the heavy cream while mixing and mix until stiff peaks form. The cream mixture will hold its shape.
▢
Gently fold in the lime zest.
▢
In a separate bowl or shallow dish add the remaining cup of lime juice and sugar and whisk until the sugar is dissolved.
▢
Quickly dip a lady finger into the lime mixture and place it into the baking dish. Repeat until the bottom is covered.
▢
Spread half of the cream mixture over the top of the lady fingers.
▢
Repeat with the remaining lady fingers and place on top of the cream mixture.
▢
Spread the remaining cream mixture over the top.
▢
Allow the tiramisu to refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours.
▢
Garnish with lime zest and crushed lady fingers.
