Beer Batter Shrimp with Tartar Sauce

This quick and easy appetizer combines crispy shrimp with a zesty tartar sauce in the perfect portable bite.

Ingredients
 
 

Beer Batter Shrimp with Tartar Sauce

  • 1 pkg Gorton's Beer Batter Shrimp
  • 1 pkg long crackers
  • 1 cup tartar sauce
  • fresh dill
  • lemon slices
  • red pepper drops

Zesty Tartar Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup cornichon, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp capers, drained
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

Instructions
 

Beer Batter Shrimp with Tartar Sauce

  • Preheat the oven to 425.
  • Place shrimp on a baking sheet.
  • Per package directions, back 16-20 minutes, flipping once after 10 minutes.
  • Layer each cracker with a teaspoon of the tartar sauce.
  • Place crispy shrimp on top of the tartar. Top with a sliver of lemon, red pepper drop, and frond of dill. Enjoy!

Zesty Tartar Sauce

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl. This can be prepared while the shrimp bake, or ahead of time.
