  • 1 stick of butter softened
  • 1/2 cup confectioner sugar plus 1 cup for rolling
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup ground walnuts
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves

Instructions
 

  • Set your oven to 350°F.
  • Cream Butter and Sugar: In a bowl, combine the softened butter with 1/2 cup of confectioner sugar until the mixture is creamy.
  • Add Dry Ingredients: Gently mix in the flour, ground walnuts, cinnamon, and ground cloves until a soft dough forms.
  • Shape Cookies: Using a small cookie scoop, form approximately 20 balls from the dough.
  • Bake: Place the cookies on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes, or until the bottom of the cookies turn golden.
  • Roll in Sugar: Allow the cookies to cool slightly. While they're still warm, roll them in the additional cup of confectioner sugar.
