  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water

For the crust

  • 8 tbsp or 1 stick of butter cold and cubed
  • 1 ½ cup flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • Stir gently until the peaches are evenly coated.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  • In another bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Add the cold, cubed butter to the dry ingredients. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to work the butter into the mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Sprinkle the crust mixture evenly over the peach filling.
  • Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the peach filling is bubbly.
  • Let the peach crisp cool slightly before serving. It’s delicious on its own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
