Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 big carrots peeled and sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Pinch of cayenne
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Juice from 1 orange
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley to serve

Instructions
 

  • In a skillet melt the butter over medium heat. Sprinkle the sugar and add the carrots into the skillet. Sauté for a few minutes. They will start to caramelize.
  • Season with salt, black pepper and a pinch of salt. Add the orange juice and broth and let the carrots cook over low heat for about 30 minutes until the liquids evaporate and carrots are soft tender and caramelized.
  • Sprinkle fresh parsley and serve!
  • Enjoy!
