Variations on Fresh Summer Cherry Salsa
This salsa is perfect on its own, but with a couple of tweaks you can customize it to your favorite flavors.
Spicy – This recipe only calls for half of a jalapeno. You can increase the heat by adding the entire jalapeno, or even a serrano pepper.
Sweet – You can add a little additional sweetness to this fruit salsa by adding a drizzle of honey.
Skip chopping everything by hand. Using a food processor allows you to achieve the desired texture for this salsa without having to hand chop all of the ingredients.
This is a great recipe to make ahead of time as the flavors develop the more it sits. If you store this salsa in an airtight container in the refrigerator it should last you several day.
